Following the recent update from our Prime Minister, we can confirm that as part of the construction and manufacturing industry supply chain, IKON will remain open throughout this second lockdown.
On Sunday 10 May 2020, the UK prime minister announced, “We now need to stress that anyone who can’t work from home, for instance those in construction or manufacturing, should be actively encouraged to go to work.”
IKON Aluminium Systems Limited will re-open the Birmingham manufacturing site on Monday 20 April 2020. IKON will be initially operating at a reduced capacity as we implement social distancing and other public health guidelines.
Following the statement by Boris Johnson we will cease production and deliveries this week. It is with great regret that we have chosen to close our business for the safety of our employees and for the protection of our wider society in general.
